Everything was simply excellent. the hotel was an incredible base for enjoying a fairly nice area. - Just next door to a bridge for an easy walk across the river to the town, chateau, and the Loire Valley cycle route. - Got the same quiet room with a view booked online, loved that.

everything exceeded high expectations, i would definitely come back there. i stayed in this modest hotel for 2 days, had really great experience, enjoyed its particularly good location right by bridge for an easy walk across the river to town, town centre and the waterfront. welcoming and pleasant staff, gave a lot of tourist information.

Convenient location near the cycle route and just a short walk from the town center. Loved the view of the river and the beautiful landmarks. The secure cycle parking was a big plus for us.
Our room was a disappointment. The bed was uncomfortably small and there were no extra pillows.

The guest rooms at Hôtel Sanotel are cozy and comfy, making you feel right at home. The flat-screen TV is perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring, and the view of the river or Gien Castle is simply breathtaking. Plus, the en suite bathroom with a bathtub is a total treat!
Personally, I didn't love the flat-screen television in the room. But hey, that's just my preference!

The guest rooms at Hôtel Sanotel are cozy and comfortable, making you feel right at home. The flat-screen TV is perfect for late-night movie marathons, and the view of the river or Gien Castle adds a touch of serenity to your stay. The bathroom is clean and has a bathtub for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I found the satellite channels on the flat-screen TV a bit limited, but that's just my preference.

During my recent business trip to Gien, my director chose Hotel Sanotel for our stay. One of the things that I appreciated about this hotel was the presence of a gym. After a long day of meetings and work, it was great to have the opportunity to unwind and exercise in the hotel's fitness facility. The gym was well-equipped with a variety of machines and equipment, allowing me to continue my exercise routine even while away from home. It definitely helped me to de-stress and stay active during my stay at Sanotel.
I did encounter a minor issue during my stay at Sanotel.

Sanotel provided excellent value for money with a clean and newly furnished room. The location was great, offering a wonderful view of the Loire and just a short walk away from the heart of the town. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to assist us.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of choices available.

I was blown away by my stay at this hotel! The room was spotless and everything looked brand new. The view of the river from my window was absolutely breathtaking. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist me. I was thrilled to find out that they had a secure shed to lock my bicycle overnight, especially since the hotel is on the EV6 bicycle route. The wifi was super fast and reliable, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. The location was perfect, just a short stroll away from an amazing bakery and a quick walk over the bridge to the main part of town with its charming riverfront restaurants. The parking lot was massive and secure, which was a huge relief since I had a car. And despite what I had read in previous reviews, I didn't hear any traffic noise at all. I had an incredible experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel's location near the Loire River in the center of Gien was absolutely spectacular. It felt like being on a captivating movie set, with the river flowing gracefully like a silver ribbon through the picturesque town.
